Information, terms and conditions
By booking your holiday/stay with St. Mary’s Guest Accommodation you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Payment
A deposit equivalent to the cost of the first night’s accommodation is required at the time of booking. We will send you a confirmation, by post or email, upon receipt of this deposit. We do not accept debt or credit cards, not Travellers' Cheques. You may pay by bank transfer (for example over the internet) or by (Sterling) cheque, payable to Becky Williamson and sent to the address on the contact page. The balance is due on departure. Balances are payable on departure by cash (Sterling) or cheque. If you wish to depart before 7.30 am you will need to settle your account the night before.
Cancellation and Insurance
Our agreement to accept your booking is a legal contract. If you cancel your stay (or simply do not arrive) and the room cannot be re-let, you are liable to pay for the booking in full, even if you cancel before paying the balance. If we succeed in re-letting the room for that same period, we will deduct from you what you owe us (or refund to you) any such rentals received less your deposit, which is always non-refundable. For these reasons we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance for your holiday.
Non-availability as booked
We would only cancel your holiday if your room was unavailable for reasons beyond our reasonable control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was either not possible or not acceptable to you then we would refund to you all monies paid for the holiday. Our liability to you would not extend beyond this refund.
Arrival
Check in is between 2 pm and 10 pm and MUST be arranged in advance. We just have the one guest room and both David and I have other jobs and commitments so we will need to know what time to be available to greet you! Similarly, if telephoning please do so between 9 am and 10 pm and be prepared to leave a message so that we can phone you back as soon as we can.

Departure
Checkout is by 11 am on the morning of your departure. Please leave the property in a clean and tidy condition.

Children
Although we accept guests of any age, children should remain under the supervision of a parent at all times, unless the baby listening service has been booked in advance (for an extra charge). Parents please note that the garden is not enclosed - it is open to the road and there is a vertical drop at one edge.
Liability
We do not accept responsibility for injury to persons or loss/damage to possessions unless caused by proven negligent act or omission of ourselves, our employees or contractors, or agents of the same, whilst acting in the course of their employment. This includes loss or damage to vehicles and their contents, and to the personal possessions you bring with you.

Complaints
Should you find any faults or have any complaints during your stay, please advise us immediately so that any appropriate action can be taken. Any unresolved disputes may be referred to arbitration.

Damage and Breakages
You are responsible for any breakages or damage you may cause to the property and its contents. Please report these before you leave.

Dogs: Sorry – No pets of any sort are permitted at St. Mary’s (except an Assistance Dog for a disabled guest). ​
Smoking
St. Mary’s is strictly NO SMOKING as it is illegal indoors. However, we also ask that you do not smoke anywhere in the grounds. Anyone found smoking will be asked to desist, any further infringement and you will be asked to leave with no refund.
​Web Site and Brochure
We make every effort to ensure that the information contained on our web site and in our brochure and the accompanying leaflets are accurate. We do however reserve the right to make small changes and we accept no liability for minor inaccuracies.​
Data Protection​​
In order to process your booking and to ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements we need to use the information you provide (name, address, phone numbers, party members etc). We take full responsibility for ensuring proper security measures are in place to protect your information. We do not pass the information to any other organsiation unless required by law.
We may contact you after your stay and keep your details on file.
